Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. She is known for her roles in TV and film in the 1980s, she's been awarded numerous awards like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born at New York New York, is a well-known actor. Bassett moved with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five to be near their mother and father, who had separated from their father. Bassett, while in high-school, saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead parts, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
